Each year the Dayton Society of Interior Designers (DSID) presents scholarships to those design students who show outstanding potential to be successful professional interior designers. The scholarships are available to anyone who is enrolled, or has been accepted, in an accredited Interior Design program at a college or university.

Scholarship Requirements:

• A completed application
• An autobiographical essay explaining your interest in the field of interior design, telling us about your talent, experience, aptitude, and enthusiasm for the design profession
• A concept board showcasing your creativity with a design plan for a future client.

Deadline for the 2011 Scholarship Application is Monday, May 2, 2011. Scholarship recipients will be contacted and invited to attend an awards presentation on September 28, 2011 at The Cannery, 434 E. Third Street, Dayton, Ohio  45402.
